The League of Jewish Women Afternoon Tea

The League of Jewish Women will be holding an Afternoon Tea at the Simcha Hall on Wednesday 6 November from 2.30 – 5pm with Guest Speaker, David Squire the Town Crier for Poole.  David who has held this position since 1958 will share many fascinating and humorous stories with us, in a talk entitled “The History of Town Crying in Dorset.”  Admission is £8.50 per person and includes a Cream Tea.  Please note that this is likely to be a very popular event and there will be no admittance without advance booking.  To book your place(s) please contact Thelma Cowan 01202 290798 or Judith Henry at j.henry678@btinternet.com by 30th October latest
