The Bournemouth Community Mikveh

Bournemouth has always had a fully functioning Mikveh. Originally it was housed in the same building as the public swimming baths at the Pier Approach.

In the 1970s Rabbi Silberg raised the funds necessary to have a new Mikveh built and housed within the Shul complex. From its inception it was sensitively managed and attended by the beloved Rebbitzen Rita Brazil z’’h with assistance from other members of the Community.

Now recently refurbished with funds raised by Rabbi Jesner it is open and attended, by appointment, whenever needed by members and visitors.

For an appointment please call the Synagogue Office on 01202 557433.
