RABBI ADRIAN AND REBBETZEN PAMELA’S FAREWELL TEA

In November we said goodbye to Rabbi Adrian and Rebbetzen Pamela Jesner. They had served the Bournemouth Community Hebrew Congregation since 2008, but decided it was time to retire. We wish them long life and happiness in this new phase of their lives. On October 29th we celebrated their time with us with food – of course!! A wonderful tea-party to say good-bye!

Feburary 2023
Tu bishvat tree planting and tea

On Feb 6th, BCHC celebrated the festival of Tu Bishvat by planting three new trees to mark the completion of the latest extension to our Cemetery at Throop.
Members gathered for the planting ceremony where the three trees were dedicated to both the Men’s and Ladies Chevra Kadisha and also to Ann & Mahir Ozdamar in recognition of the dedicated service to planning and managing the new area of our cemetery.
Mahir planted the first tree on behalf of the Men and Megan Kosky planted one on behalf of the Ladies. Anne Ozdamar planted the third tree.

The members headed back to the Menorah suite at the Shul to enjoy a beautifully prepared festive tea, organised by the Guild, led by Marion Reichwald.

Pesach: Communal Seder

Friday April 15th 2022

A wonderful and well attended Communal Seder was held in the Menorah Suite.
Expertly organised by Jenny Lamski and a hard working team of helpers.
The Seder service was led by David Harris along with the participation of members of the community.
This Seder could not have been made possible without the generosity of Donors in the Community whose contributions subsidised the meal along with  the support of the Chief Rabbi’s office.
